Woodway Park

Sheep and lambs grazing in Woodway Park hills - Jan-2002

Woodway Park boasts a mini-green-wedge and a micro-green-corridor.

The mini-green wedge is a valley between Woodway Park and the Walsgrave Triangle Business Park (complete with stream, hills, sheep and lambs).

The micro-green-corridor (rural hedges, trees and a large pond) is a well made path through the middle of Woodway Park estate.

The two together make a pleasant and interesting little walk, and can be extended by taking in Woodway Lane and  both bits of Sowe Common (shame about M6 - I remember in 1960 when it really was countryside, complete with village pub [still there]),

Good for Dogs rating: 1 dog

A narrow strip of open grassland by the stream, but you will need a lead for most of the rest of the walk.
