1.  We have moved!  You will still find the homepage at http://www.coventry-walks.org.uk/ , but you will also find that this shows in your address bar for ALL pages.  For a more detailed explanation of the move, see http://coventry-walks.org.uk/host-and-url.html .

 

2.  Sorry if any of you thought we had vanished altogether over the past day or so.  As explained in the link above, this is one of the prices to pay for such a move, as all host computers around the world are updated with the news of our move.  I hope you will now find the site is better, but if you find any problems, please let me know.

 

3.  The only significant update of content since the last newsletter is that Potters Green Corridor updated to outline history of Warwickshire coalfield.  Many thanks to Robert Burlison for answering my plea for information on the old page - the new content uses much of his e-mailed reply.  I also went to the Coventry and Warwick collection and found lots more interesting detail - see the references I have put on the page if you would like to know more.

 

4. I have added a few more little extras.  See the news archive for the list of most significant items.

 

Many of these improvements have only been possible due to feedback from users.  Please keep your ideas coming.   In particular, let me know what you would like to see added and/or improved on the site.
