Hi All,

It is now a year since the initial prototype of the site emerged.

The mixed weather over the last few weeks have given me several days to catch up on the backlog of jobs to do on the site.  In particular:

1.  I have now finalised the "just walk it" pages.  Visit them to see result.

2.  I have highlighted on the maps the routes for the "just walk it" paths, and also the other circular routes which were previously only described in words.

3.  I have re-worked the pages which did not view well in (e.g.) Netscape 4.5.  While doing so I also found errors which would not have worked in any of your browsers (e.g. a link to a few pictures on my hard drive instead of the internet!) - these are now corrected.

4.  I have added lots more little extras.  See the news archive for the list.

5.  I have also received and published the first entry in the guestbook - from Maryland USA!  How about an entry from some shy English people now?!

Visit the Coventry Walks website at http://www.coventry-walks.org.uk/  see progress - and maybe to make use of it to find a good walk where you can enjoy the Coventry winter.

Many thanks to all who have encouraged and helped me to get to this stage.  Keep giving me feedback, good or bad - I'm sure it will always be constructive!  In particular, let me know what you would like to see added and/or improved on the site.

Regards

PS - This newsletter is addressed To: newsletter.distribution @ coventry-walks.org.uk (which gets forwarded to me so I feel it worked!) with Bcc: "Distribution list containing all your addresses".  You should NOT see all these addresses, and you may not even see your own (depending on your mail system).  This method respects your privacy rights, and avoids you having to read past a long list of addresses.  I trust this works OK.
