just walk it - a walk through Longford and Foleshill

Cover of brochure Bus Services No. 20, 20A and 50 (Distance 2.4 Miles) The walk starts at Longford Nature Reserve, at the junction of Blackburn Road and Longford Road B41113. Car parking is available in Longford Park opposite. Follow the path through the Nature Reserve alongside the River Sowe, cross over the small metal bridge, bear left and follow the path up the hill.  At the top, turn left onto the canal towpath. Follow the canal to bridge (7) at Old Church Road, go under the bridge and turn left into Spring Road and up the ramp on the left.  At the top, facing the Royal public house, turn right and follow to Profitt Avenue. Turn left, cross the road into the open space and follow the path through Hanbury Place and onto Cubbington Road.  Continue up Cubbington Road,. cross Windmill Road. Take the road at the side of The Old Crown public house, Recreation Road, and into Longford Park at the bottom.  Bear right on the path through the park to the bridge over the river. Over the bridge turn left, taking the path through the ornamental garden's to finish the walk at the park gates on Longford Road.
