1.2	Coventry Canal Art Trail & Coventry Canal Corridor	Map13 U3 Map12 Map22 Map32 O13	Coventry Canal Society	A 5½ mile walk along the towpath from the city centre canal basin to Hawkesbury Junction Conservation Area. The route includes many "pocket parks" and an art and sculpture trail.

A 40 mile circular long distance footpath. The path is mostly in the countryside just beyond the Coventry city boundary, and only a small part features on this Coventry Walks set of maps. 1.5	Heart of England Way	OS Explorer Sheets 221 etc. Map11 A7-F1	HoE Way Ass'n website J.Butlers website Ramblers website	Passes Coventry to the West. 100 mile wandering green route taking in Cannock Chase, Lichfield, the Avon Valley and northern Cotswolds. This is also part of John Butlers "An End-to-End Walk" from Lands End to John O'Groats.

It passes Coventry to the North, East and South. It just comes into NW Coventry boundary following the Oxford Canal and Coventry Canal.
1.7	Oxford Canal Walk	Map13 U3	yourOWNtowpath.com	The 77 mile Oxford Canal Walk follows the meandering towpaths of the Oxford Canal as it passes through the counties of Oxfordshire, Warwickshire and Northamptonshire
1.8	Millennium Way	Map21 A10-A12 Map31 A13-A14	Millennium Way website	"A beautiful 100 Mile walk in the centre of England". From Pershore to Middleton Cheyney via Meriden, just touching Coventry on the western edge of maps 21 and 31, and just off the edge of map 41.
1.9	Shakeapeare's Avon Way	OS Explorer Sheets 222 etc. Map43 X24-ZA23	Shakeapeare's Avon Way Association	An 88 mile, long distance footpath. This is the latest long distance path near Coventry, and officially opened over the weekend of 26th / 27th April 2008. Much of the route near Coventry is shared by A Coventry Way &/or Warwickshire Centenary Way
