This page shows all the Illustrations from the main chapters (plus a few others), and alongside each historic view is a modern photo from (as near as practical) the same viewpoint.  By default, the page opens so that a pair of illustrations fits across the window.  To use, advance each slideshow in step - later I will try to add buttons in the top frame which advance in step automatically.  Note you can move frame boundaries to e.g. hide/show these instructions, or make one picture bigger than the other. Hint: Set both slideshows on "Play Slideshows" and then go and make a cup of coffee - then see fast slideshow while you drink it! N.B. - Buttons at top will be made to make both slideshows below pause, start, etc .
